  • Individual servers that may be taken off line transparently. Core processing is in a high availability configuration with automatic switching to a second node in less than 2 seconds. The database servers are SQL 2005 enterprise in a fully clustered environment. Storage device are EMC CX-400 Clarion with dual processing and dual fiber channel paths. Device communications are a carrier provided APN over fiber with a fully clustered and redundant environment which allows Teletrac to perform system maintenance and service without impact to the customer
  • Data back-up and archiving performed nightly to disk with weekly back-ups to tape. Monthly archival back-ups are made to tape. This is completed via in a “Grandfather, Father, and Son” best practices scheme
  • A third party offsite partner, Iron Mountain Secure Data, for archiving services for the weekly and monthly tape back-ups
  • Power protected by fully automatic Ups and Generator with redundant battery banks. In the event of a power emergency, Teletrac can remain on internal power indefinitely. Air handling is rated at 200% load and is fully redundant
  • A comprehensive written disaster recovery program developed by skilled personnel, and a disaster recovery site servicing to more than 1000 customers
